This year has been a year of awakening, of learning more about who I am, and of leaning into (at least trying to) the best parts of myself. Recently, I made a post about the Enneagram. Go check it out! It is something I have been intrigued by for a long time, but it has only been within the past few months that I have delved deeper into the material. I identity as a Four with a strong self-preservation instinct. Also, for those who are interest in Myers-Briggs, I identify as an INFP.
This year has been filled with lots of insight and "a-ha" moments as I explore these resources.
For a long time I thought I was possibly a Two on the Enneagram, (a mistyping many women face) and then recently struggled with identifying between a 7 and a 4, two numbers that are rarely misidentified. That is where the self-preservation instinct comes into play, manifesting in particular ways. Further, I identified with Myers-Briggs ENFP, because I love being around people and being social. It was not until I really thought about where my energy was coming from, however, that I realized I am slightly more introverted. The more I reflect, read, write, and take time to be with myself, the more I realize and recognize who I am really am.
What has this last year taught you?
Are there parts of yourself you haven't explored and want to develop more fully?
What parts of yourself do you want to lean into today?
Can you take time to listen and honor yourself this week?
You know yourself better than anyone. Don't let anyone tell you different.
