Somedays you need to put yourself out there

Try something new

Feel a little goofy or dumb

We can’t take life too seriously

Last night, I got up and sang acapella at an open mic night

Everyone else had instruments and had written songs

They were incredible!

But I still got up there and sang.

Just because.

Because I needed it

Because why the heck not?

Because I needed to be reminded of my own strength, my own playfulness, and my own presence.
